24-year-old impeccable lyricist Chuck Daily was born in Georgia and now resides in Newark, New Jersey. His passion for music started about nine years ago and five years ago he decided to take his talent to another level. He has performed at talent shows, clubs and rap battles. Entermisses' newest writer Vanessa Fleury had the opportunity to catch up with Chuck and ask him a little bit about himself.

Vanessa: When did you start rapping?
Chuck: I started rapping in early 2000-01, but I didn’t get real serious with things until around 2005-2006.
V: What crew are you down with and how did you guys link up?
C: I’m part of 400 Block. 400 Block is where everything started at, probably around 2003-2004. Lil Bro and Allstarr started everything off. Now the crew consists of myself, Allstarr, Lil Bro, Shotgun Suge, JAI, Kennii Michaels, and Moe Dollaz.
V:What websites have you been featured on?
C: I’ve had blogs, songs, and freestyles cyphers on
www.hiphoprookies.com, www.piffavenue.com, www.onsmash.com, Undeniable TV, and Smash Block TV. I’ve also been on other artists mixtapes such as Redikalis, Allstarr, and Pay Day.
V: Where are the most popular places you have performed?
C: I’ve performed at a number of clubs, talent shows, & a couple of battles.
The most popular place was a showcase in NY, with A&R’s there from various record companies. I also performed at Block City’s mixtape release party with other members of 400 Block.
V: Who are the most popular people you have preformed with?
C: The most popular artists I’ve performed with are all local artists such as Allstarr Da Great, Arsonal Da Rebel, J.O. Skeem, & Lil Bro of Ru Records.
V: Describe your style.
C: I would say my style is more of a lyricist. But I pride myself on being someone who can touch on all subjects. I don’t focus on just one particular area. I try to be more of an versatile artists, so I can have something that every type of fan can relate to.
V: What are your future goals?
C: My future goals are to be respected amongst my fellow musicians and competition, and also to get my music heard and seen by a large scale of people.
V: What is the name of your mixtape and when can we expect it to be released?
C: The name of the mixtape is The Era of Perfection and right now I’m expecting an early/mid June release
